The new OICCU year

A new OICCU year has recently started; the new committee have taken over, and we have had our first 'getaway' together which went really well. We felt we bonded together as a team and had a good balance between time to get to know each other and time to discuss the issues at hand. In particular we have been planning our evangelistic events this term which will include a pub quiz + talk, questionnaires and a BBQ + talk. Please pray for the arrangements for these such as booking venues and speakers.

Please pray too for 'Vision'. This is a three day conference from 17th-19th April at which all of the CU leaders from the various Oxford colleges will be attending for a training programme. Julian Hardyman, from Eden Baptist in Cambridge is giving the Bible talks on Jeramiah, and our UCCF staffworkers are doing seminars on prayer, evangelism, international work and life as a CU leader. Pray that these new leaders would catch on to the vision of the CU and be challenged both in their own personal lives and in their roles as leaders.
